The late Whitney Houston will be seen in her last ever onscreen performance in the movie “Sparkle”, which hits the screen on August 17.
The film’s producer, Bishop T.D. Jakes, says when working with Houston on the set she was very down to earth, very friendly and had a great sense of humor. And when it came time to perform, ‘she was quite believable in the role, a professional on the set, but more importantly, she brought a passion and a sense of motherhood to the role.’
But one of the things that most sticks out in his mind, as well as the minds of others, is the day Houston sung one of her favorite gospel songs, “His Eye is on the Sparrow.”
