Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind you to ask for help, not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong!
Asking for help used to be one of the most challenging things for me to do. I’m much better now but at times it still makes me uncomfortable. As I continue on this journey, I’m learning that:
- Refusing to ask for help is just like refusing someone the chance to be helpful.
- Refusing to ask for help is not a sign of being weak; it’s a sign of being wise!
- Refusing to ask for help is just like not asking for directions when you are you lost!
The bottom line is that we all need each other. Yes, you can do it all yourself; but you don’t have to! Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.
Remember, “We are each angels with one wing; and we can only fly by embracing one another.”
